Young Thespians' Theatre-Production Program
for Kids in Grades 2-8
The Young Thespians' Theatre-Production Program meets on Thursday afternoons, 5:15-7:15pm. Students study acting and audition, rehearse, and perform a fully staged theatrical production. The 2025 play is William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Show dates are June 20, 21, & 22, 2025.
Triple Promise theatre-production programs are all-inclusive; costumes, props, scenery, lighting and sound equipment, etc. are all included in the cost of tuition. Parents only need to provide undergarments, hair spray, hair pins, and light make-up for show days, and, in some cases, shoes.
This program meets every Thursday. No rehearsal on Thanksgiving Day, 11/21/24, on final dress rehearsal for the fall musical on 12/19/24, on 12/26/24, or on Opening Night for our Staten Island show on 5/8/25. On other holidays and NYC public school closure days, we will try to continue to hold rehearsal, pending availability of the cast members. (Usually we send out an e-mail asking everyone's availability; in general, if more than half of the cast will be out absent on any given school closure day, rehearsal will be cancelled.)
